What if we treated mental health, rest, and joy like they were more than individual responsibilities? What if we considered joy to be a community responsibility? This is the center of our panel discussion on community care, featuring Vivian Storm, Jordan Killebrew, and more.

We are kicking off Pride & Joy weekend with a community conversation at the beautiful Marjorie Luke Theatre a short ride from State Street and in the heart of one of Santa Barbara’s Latine/x/o/a neighborhoods.

The panel of queer Black community leaders and experts in their fields will be sharing stories, adding to our toolkits, and helping us learn the power of every-day practices that make mental health & wellbeing central to how we build and nurture community. Joy is not just an individual experience, but something we can facilitate and nurture together.
